I'm so there. Linking despite the Nabob's complaints in the comments section of a recent post:
LUCHA LIBRE PAINTINGS AT THE FRASER GALLERY.
Anyone who captures the glory of Mexican wrestlers in oil paint gets my attention.

I feel like this exhibit might just warrant doing something crazy, like wearing a costume to it or, I dunno. The artist is all about tech-aided viewer feedback, but it strikes me that this could easily be translated into viewer participation. Maybe you should rent a monkey, put it into a costume, and bring it along?
I may not be making any sense at all. I think I'm still hungover from last Friday.
I don't know nearly as much about Lucha Libre as I do about American wrestling, but the whole code of the mask thing seems pretty awesome.
i'm leaving this up because, cat musicals! awesome.
I left up all the Star Wars spam I got. I'm a little embarrassed to admit how many evenings spent cleaning spam have turned into time spent reading spam.
. . . anyway, I'll be up there for the opening on Friday, if anyone wants to join.
If I didn't have Jon Stewart tix already, I'd be there. His stuff is up til Nov 16 though, correct?
Yep, lots of time.
