I think it's like watching those five-minute sports recaps that just show highlights of a single game. Part of its appeal is definitely the ability to attain a higher level of pop-cultural relevancy per minute of listening than with other source of music. It makes me a little ashamed, too.
And yet: it's sooooo good.
