okay, RAvent and i are taking a poll. What's the funniest state? Lke, a state government that probably has the best sense of humor? Right now, we're both going with North Dakota but I don't know how accurate that is.... mostly just a gut feeling.
My IM's this week, btw, have been ridiculous.
unrelated and outdated, but my latest download: Prefuse 73 featuring Ghostface Killah. Oh, yes indeed.

I don't know, I bet the Dakotas have got kind of an inferiority complex. And I bet they *hate* Dakota Fanning -- like they keep going on about her, and took all the Pepsi out of state-owned machines.
I might have to give best sense of humor to Maryland, since they're a) not particularly full of themselves and b) don't seem to have a chip on their shoulder (most states are kind of pains in the ass). But Maryland is admittedly not innately hilarious (except for the crab thing).
maryland has also been discussed. I could get behind MD.
After giving this some serious thought, I think the only possible answer is Florida.
Florida is unintentionally hilarious, but it's much too dumb to have a good sense of humor. I bet Florida was psyched to see I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry.
Dude, Florida and I were there opening weekend.
Florida and Ryan are dating? tell me this is just a phase.
I vote NH. Live free or die? NH was probably the funny stoner in high school that put a fast times at ridgemont high quote in their yearbook entry. 'All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.' (thanks IMDB!)
Or so the tabloids would have you believe, g.
It's too bad Canada isn't a state. It would definitely be the funniest.
A friend thought it was "live free and die," leading to lots of laffs for us, but New Hampshire only half-smiled and nodded politely. They mean that "or die" part seriously; eternal viligance doesn't leave much room for yukking it up.
"New Mexico" is hilarious.
arkansas is kind of funny? the way crying clowns are funny? okay, maybe not.
