(Oh. Now I feel bad. Shannon had to be scrappy! Shannon had to manipulate her way through life! Shannon was, in effect, Cinderella! All Shannon wanted was to be a ballerina. Poor Shannon.

Even though the producers wanted me to, I just could't feel bad for Shannon. I was on the phone for a good portion of the show though, so that may have ruined the pathos. They totally hooked me with the preview for next week though.
